By popular request, will study "cessationism." Why do some notable teachers believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit listed in the bible, such as prophecy, tongues, healings, and other miracles -- were only in operation during the First Century? Why do we (at Hillside) believe (and therefore practice) otherwise?
